Math Information and Strategies Night

The Calvert County Council of PTA's will be hosting a Math Strategies Night at Calvert Middle School on January 14, 2014. This date replaces the January 6 date previously advertised by the PTA. For more information about registration, please see below:

5:30–7:00 Elementary MATH strategies for Homework Help

Learn classroom strategies used by our teachers to help your child with their homework.


7:00–8:00 Middle School Math and Common Core Curriculum

Participants will examine the secondary math pathways as Calvert County Public Schools transitions to the Common Core as well as take a closer look at the new middle school math online curriculum program, “Agile Mind.”


8:00–9:00 College Level/Career Preparedness for High School

College of Southern Maryland will present information about financial planning for tudents in addition to college classes for high school students. Continuing Education opportunities for Adults will be discussed as well.
